We got an email from Leslie, who owns The Maine Grind where we have Downeast Learning workshops. Turns out the furnace needs fixing (got colder quicker than we all thought) so it’s either freeze at Thursday’s workshop or postpone it. Yeah, I think you know what we decided.

That said, if you are in the mood to still go to the Maine Grind Thursday night, there is going to be a great presentation by the Penobscot Marine Museum of historic photographs from Downeast Maine from their collection. Some rare and cool stuff for history buffs and locals. Don’t worry it’ll be downstairs where the furnace is working and it’ll be nice and toasty.
